Friends Contest
One of our supporters has generously
donated a $250 VISA gift card for the purpose of sponsoring the first quarter of
a contest among the Friends of Darlynn's Darlins, Inc. The goals of the contest
are to spread the word about the work that is being done at the sanctuary and to
expand our base of supporters. The contest is open to everyone that is already
in our Friends network as well as those that want to join our Friends network.
If you are not already in our Friends
network, joining is simple. Just click on the
Friends link and fill out the form.
Here is how the contest works:
 |
The contest will run all year, with a $250
VISA gift card being awarded at the end of each quarter. (The VISA gift
cards are donations and will NOT come out of the funds raised or the
funds used to care for the sanctuary animals.) |
 |
You will be awarded one point for each dollar
you donate during the quarter, as well as one point for each dollar
donated during the quarter by someone you referred. This can be either
through one-time donations or monthly sponsorships. **Please be sure
to get your referral to sign up on the Friends page or indicate when
they give their one-time or monthly sponsorship donation that they were
referred by you so you can get credit! |
 |
At the end of each quarter (March 31, 2006,
June 30, 2006, September 30, 2006, December 31, 2006), the Friend with
the most points will be the lucky recipient of a $250 VISA gift card.
|
 |
If you refer someone to our Friends network
and they make a donation in a subsequent quarter, you will receive
credit in that quarter. |
 |
100% of the proceeds from this contest will be
used to purchase food for the animals. Currently it costs about $300 per
week to feed all the animals in our care. |
 |
Supporters that you refer and that join our
Friends network will be eligible to participate in subsequent quarter's
contests. |
Supporters of Darlynn's Darlins are the animals' best
resource for reaching out to others to spread the word about the care they are
receiving at the sanctuary, so reach out to your friends, family, co-workers and
let them know how they can help! We welcome
questions and we welcome visitors to our sanctuary.
